DES MOINES, Iowa -- A fourth person killed in a car accident near Water Works Park in Des Moines is being identified.
The Polk County Medical Examiners Office says Zachary McBride, 23, of Weaver, Iowa was killed when the car he and four others were in hit a tree and caught fire early Sunday morning.
Police say Ross Welsher, 22,, Jordan Van Gundy, 22, and Jacob Van Gundy, 24, were also killed in the accident.
Rheanne Ames, 22, of West Des Moines was pulled from the wreck by a Des Moines police officer. She was treated and released from a local hospital.
Police say it appears Welsher was driving the car when he lost control and hit the tree.
