WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Downling Catholic High School in West Des Moines is calling off the rest of it's baseball and softball seasons.
The school says the announcement comes after a positive COVID-19 test in someone who had close contact with the baseball team.
Dowling says it's following guidelines from the Polk County Health Department suspending play for both teams.
The baseball and softball teams were scheduled to play at West Des Moines Valley Wednesday night.
Dowling's Baseball was the top-ranked team in the state.
