DES MOINES, Iowa - The National Weather Service says there's a possibility of severe weather Tuesday and Wednesday in Iowa.
Damaging thunderstorm winds and large hail are the main threats, and a few tornadoes are also possible Tuesday afternoon.
All of Central Iowa is at risk Tuesday, and southern Iowa Wednesday.
The time and duration of the storms noon through Tuesday Night – though most of the severe weather is likely in the afternoon hours.
There may also be some early morning strong storms and storms that remain strong into the overnight hours across the southern portion of the state.
