DES MOINES, Iowa - State health officials have released a new online resource that displays the positivity rate for COVID-19 in each county. School districts at 15% positivity rates or higher will be allowed to hold online-only classes when the school year starts.
Current data show six Iowa counties at or above the 15% threshold. Those counties include Webster, Clarke, Franklin, Humboldt, Fremont, and Shelby.
Several additional counties fall between 10% and 14% positivity for the virus, including Marshall, Clayton, Dubuque, Clinton, Bremer, Floyd, and Wapello.
