DES MOINES, Iowa -The Des Moines National Weather Service says severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are expected across all of Iowa Monday.
There's also a possibly of a few tornadoes as well. Brief heavy rainfall and hail is possible, but not as likely as the damaging winds.
The thunderstorms will occur in the late morning to late afternoon, and a few could develop as early as mid-morning over the region.
There's an enhanced risk for most of eastern Iowa, including the cities of Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Burlington. The city of Decorah has a marginal risk of severe weather.
