DAVENPORT, Iowa - Police in Davenport say they have responded to an active crime scene at the Summer Ridge Apartments around West 65th Street and North Harrison Street.
Witnesses told KWQC TV6 they started seeing officers arrive around 7:30am, as caution tape was placed around the scene. Residents said they did not see or hear anything suspicious from the apartment complex before police cars began to arrive.
By 10am there were five Davenport Police cars as well as as Crime Scene Unit at the apartment complex.
The Davenport Police Department has not offered any details as to the nature of the crime scene but says there is no imminent threat to the public.
