Several bars and restaurants filed a lawsuit against the state of Iowa in response to a proclamation that closes bars in six counties.
The lawsuit currently includes Tonic Bar and Saints Pub and Patio in Waukee.
Governor Kim Reynolds issued a proclamation Thursday that closed bars in Linn, Black Hawk, Polk, Johnson, Dallas, and Story counties.
The injunction states the governor's proclamation was not issued based on facts, and that establishments didn't have a proper notice to shut down facilities in time.
