DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa's regents universities are making changes to next semester's schedule--including cancelling Spring Break.
Iowa, Iowa State, and Northern Iowa say the move is one of several COVID-19 schedule changes announced on Monday.
Iowa says it plans to start the spring semester January 22nd, U-N-I and I-S-U on the 25th--all later than normal.
The late start will give students a nearly two-month long break between semesters.
ISU says it will end the spring semester on May 6th, 2021--UNI on May 7th, and Iowa on May 14th.
