(Benton County, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol says the driver of a minivan was killed, and five children are hurt after a school bus crash this (Wednesday) morning in eastern Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol says it happened north of Highway-30 near Keystone in Benton County.
The Patrol says the driver of a Dodge Caravan dropped off the shoulder on V44/15th Avenue multiple times, over-corrected and crossed into the path of an oncoming school bus. The driver died on the way to the hospital. Five juveniles on the bus have minor injuries.
