The Ames School Board has approved a hybrid learning model starting on September 21st.
The board voted Thursday to move to 50% in-person and 50% online learning after starting the year with only remote learning.
The district also said on Twitter this means extracurricular activities can restart after being paused.
As of Wednesday, Story county has a 10.8% positivity rate over the last 14 days.
