(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man is dead after crashing his S-U-V on I-380 this (Thursday) afternoon.
Police say the vehicle went off northbound I-380 near 29th Street NE at 3:25 p.m. The driver hit a pole, and rolled into a ditch and was ejected.
Police officers, firefighters, and Area Ambulance Service personnel assessed the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
