CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The number of COVID-19 outbreaks at long-term care facilities in Iowa has reached a new high.
As of this morning, there are outbreaks at 50 facilities across the state. Of that number, 10 clinics reported outbreaks within the last 24 hours.
The state's coronavirus website does not specify whether new cases are among residents or facility staff.
At least three residents or staff members must test positive for a facility to reach outbreak status.
