Iowa State University says no basketball season ticket sales this year

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University won't sell season tickets for men's or women's basketball this season.

ISU Athletic Director Jamie Pollard says they're considering options that may allow just a limited number of fans at basketball games in Hilton Coliseum.

He says if fans are allowed to attend the games, capacity will likely be capped around 10 percent of Hilton's 14,384 seats--just over 1,400 people.

Pollard says those tickets would be available to those who've maintained their Cyclone Club donations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He says they're working with the Big 12 Conference on schedules, and should have more information early next month.
