ELDORA, Iowa - A Iowa farmer near Eldora is dead after being buried under seven feet of grain.
The Des Moines Register reports the farmer was working when the door of a grain bin slid open.
He was buried under seven feet of grain, which amounts to several hundred bushels.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating how the grain bin door opened, and how the 79-year-old farmer became trapped underneath.
