This season's Iowa-Nebraska football game set for Black Friday

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Tradition will stand this year as the Iowa and Nebraska football teams will play each other the day after Thanksgiving.

The Big Ten Conference says the matchup between Hawkeyes and Huskers and will be Friday, November 27th in Iowa City.

This year’s matchup is the 10th straight season the game has taken place between the two teams on Black Friday.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic caused delays in the Big 10's season, Iowa was finish the year with Wisconsin, while Nebraska was to play Minnesota on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Iowa's game against Minnesota will also be on a Friday--the Hawkeyes will play the Golden Gophers in Minneapolis on November 13th.

No kick-off time for the Iowa-Nebraska game has been announced.
