Three Juveniles Injured, One Critically, in Overnight Des Moines Shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa – Three juveniles are injured, one critically, after a shooting overnight in north Des Moines.

The shooting took place around 1 a.m. in the Mondamin Presidential neighborhood. Des Moines Police Sgt. Paul Parizek says it happened in the 1700 block of 16th Street.

Three juvenile males were injured. The person in critical condition is in stable condition. The other two have non-life threatening injuries.

Police say no one is in custody from the shooting but there is no danger to the public.

Officers are investigating the shooting.
