Des Moines Man Arrested For Impersonating Police Officer

DES MOINES, Iowa - A Des Moines man is in custody after police say he claimed to be a police officer and pulled someone over.

According to a criminal complaint, Dewey Moraine flashed his lights to get a car to pull over.

Victims tell police Moraine had a stun gun and was ordering them to get out of the car. When police responded, they found two stun guns and an air pistol in Moraine's car.

Moraine is facing multiple charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon and impersonating a police officer.
