DAVENPORT, Iowa - Firefighters battled a fire at a historic home in downtown Davenport.
KWQC reports fire crews arrived to the scene at about 4:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of West 5th Street.
No one was in the building at the time, but thw structure is a total loss as it largely collapsed.
A number of fire crew were required to bring the fire under control.
