Iowans no longer eligible for unemployment Extended Benefits program

Due to Iowa's economic recovery, the US Department of Labor has notified the state that is has triggered off the unemployment Extended Benefits program, meaning Iowans will be no longer eligible for the program.

This means Iowa's insured unemployment rate has averaged below 5% for the last 13 weeks.

The last payable week on the extended benefits program is the week ending on October 31.
