(Clive, IA) -- A body was found in Clive earlier this month, has been identified as a man reported missing in the Spring. A hiker spotted the body of 27-year-old Joel Moots the afternoon of October 17th along the Clive Greenbelt trail. Foul play is not suspected in his death.
Police say Joel Moots was last seen by his family May 31st. A missing person's report was filed June 1sth, and at that time detectives worked to find Joel but had no success.
Moots' identify was confirmed thru dental records.
