Vice President Pence returns to Des Moines for pre-election rally

(Des Moines, IA) -- Vice President Mike Pence made a campaign stop in Des Moines today (Thursday), his second trip to Des Moines this month. The visit may be the last to Iowa, before next Tuesday's election. Pence touted third quarter GDP numbers at today's rally at the Des Moines International Airport. "The economy grew by more than 33-percent in the third quarter, shattering any previous American record, the great American comeback is on!" said Pence.

Pence made a pitch to supporters to get out and vote November 3rd. "Don't let friends vote alone, bring a family member, bring a neighbor, bring a co-worker, and vote to re-elect President Trump for four more years!," said Pence, who also campaigned behalf of incumbent Senator Joni Ernst. Democrat Theresa Greenfield is challenging the first-term Republican.

Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden is scheduled to hold a drive-in campaign event in Des Moines Friday.
