DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Des Moines Police Department has made an arrest in relation to a Thanksgiving hit-and-run.
Police say an anonymous tip led them to a home on the south side where they found the car involved in the hit and the suspect, 22-year-old Lim Bol Choul.
They say Choul hit a pedestrian Thursday night at the intersection of SE 14th Street and Watrous Avenue before fleeing the scene. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Choul is being charged with Leaving The Scene Of An Accident Resulting In Death and No Insurance.
Police aren't releasing the name of the victim at this time.
