A number of national media sources are reporting former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack has been chosen by Joe Biden to be the Secretary of Agriculture in a future Biden administration.

It would be Vilsack's second time in the position, serving for eight years in the same role under President Obama.

Vilsack was the Mayor of Mount Pleasant and served in the Iowa Senate before he was elected to two terms as Iowa's Governor.
