(Undated) -- The Deb and Jeff Hanson Foundation and Iowa Select Farms is in the midst of it's annual tradition, Operation Christmas meal, handing out thousands of pork loins to Iowans. This year's event features COVID-19 precautions, those handing out the pork loins are wearing masks and gloves.
The effort began December 8th and will continue through December 17th.
Volunteers were in Mount Ayr and Oscela today. They'll be in Humeston late this (Tuesday) afternoon.
The event will take place in Webster City, Fort Dodge, and Iowa Falls on December 17th.
