(Story County, IA) -- A Newton man is okay after his car collided with a Union Pacific freight train this (Thursday) morning. The Story County Sheriff's Office says it happened at an uncontrolled railroad intersection at 150th Street and East 650th Avenue, near McCallsburg. The Sheriff's Office says the train hit the passenger side of his car. The man was not hurt.
