(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police have taken a 15-year-old into custody after a high speed chase. According to WHO 13, Police say the teen was clocked going 87-miles per hour on I-235. Police say the driver exited the freeway and drove the wrong way on ML-King Parkway, hitting two police vehicles.
The chase ended at 39th and Rollins, south of I-235. An officer was able to push the suspect's car into a driveway, where it was blocked by a police SUV. Police say the suspect then rammed the SUV, and he was taken into custody. There were no injuries.
