(Des Moines, IA) -- Wonder if you've already had a mild case of Covid? Hy-Vee is offering antibody testing at pharmacies in Iowa.
"Some people are getting this test because they want to know if they have antibodies so they can donate plasma." Christian Gayman tells KCRG-TV 9.
"Other people are just interested to know, like, 'Hey, have I had it and never had symptoms and didn't know it at the time'." Gayman says.
Antibodies are proteins produced in the body to fight an infection or illness.
The Rapid Covid Antibody test is a finger-prick blood test and results are available in 15 minutes.
The test costs $25 and you must make an appointment online.
