CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Eastern Iowa could see up to eleven inches of snow in some areas before tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service says Cedar Rapids and Iowa City could get between six and eleven inches. The Quad Cities could see between six and ten inches.
A winter storm warning goes into effect at noon today until noon tomorrow.
They say most of the snow will fall this evening with some lingering snow tomorrow morning.
The storm could make travel this evening difficult with anticipated blowing and drifting snow.
Ice is also a potential hazard for this evening's commute.
