(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police have given more than 120-citaions to people with vehicles parked in Emergency Snow Routes. The snow ordnance remains in effect, and violators could get a ticket and/or have their vehicle towed unless they remove the vehicles from designated Emergency Snow Routes.
During the snow storm, Des Moines police officers responded to more than a dozen crashes with property damage only and a couple with injuries. There were three hit-and-run crashes and more than 30-stalled or stuck vehicles.
