(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Public Works Department is getting ready for a range of wintery precipitation tomorrow (Saturday). The forecast calls for freezing rain, all rain, snow, and possible ice too. The Public Works Deputy Director Adam Smith says snow routes should be in good shape, but crews will apply more salt if need be tomorrow morning. He says later in the day, when the precipitation turns to all snow, plows will roll.
