(Des Moines, Iowa) -- The Des Moines Public School District is announcing its first pop-up vaccination clinic for teachers and staff.
DMPS is partnering with MercyOne to host the clinic at Central Campus on Saturday, February 6th. The district says it will administer 500 first doses of the vaccine, which will cover about 10% of its employees. DMPS says it hopes this will be the first of many pop-up vaccination clinics.
Iowa teachers became eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday as part of Phase 1B of the state's vaccination plan.
