Cedar Rapids Police Asking for Public Help in Car Part Thefts

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids Police are asking for public help to identify a person suspected of stealing a catalytic converter.

The city's experienced an outbreak of more than 30 car part thefts in the past two months.

Police have posted a video of the latest suspected theft of a catalytic converter on their Facebook page.

The theft occurred at around 11 p.m. Monday night.
