IOWA - A new report makes recommendations for Iowa's recovery from the pandemic.
Governor Kim Reynolds introduced the results from her Economic Recovery Advisory Board Thursday.
The lengthy report is calling for long-range, major improvements in areas ranging from child care to housing to broadband.
The board included managers at high profile companies such as Hy-Vee, John Deere and Mid-American Energy.
The 126-page report makes 18-recommendations after the advisory board was announced last June.
The board worked with more than 350 volunteers that were divided into seven groups to study agriculture, connectivity, economic growth, education, government, public health and expanding the workforce.
Several of the board members spoke at Governor Reynolds Thursday news conference.
