Iowa Wrestling suspends in-person activities due to COVID-19

The Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling program is pausing its season due to COVID-19 cases within the program.

The top-ranked Hawkeyes were scheduled for a dual meet with No. 4 Penn State this Friday.

In a statement Head Coach Tom Brands said "We are appreciative of the Iowa medical staff and respect the decision to pause activities. We will continue to follow Big Ten protocols and look forward to a return to training and competition."

No date for a return to team activities was announced by the school.
