(Mahaska CO, IA) -- A man's in the Mahaska Jail, charged with Attempted Murder, after a woman was found stabbed last night. The Sheriff's Office says 36-year-old Shauna Flynn was found in a car in the 18-hundred block of Highway 163 with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to the Pella Hospital, then transferred to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, where she's hospitalized in stable condition. Twenty-nine-year-old Jerome McAttee was arrested without incident early this morning in a hotel room in Ottumwa. Flynn and McAttee are both from St. Louis.
