The 2021 St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration is canceled. It's the second year in a row the parade has been called off.
The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Central Iowa made the announcement Wednesday, asking Central Iowans to show their Irish pride by donating their time or money to a local food pantry instead.
The 2020 parade was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
