Iowa will no longer award a contract to any vendor for a vaccine call center that would provide Iowans with information about the vaccine, or with assistance in scheduling an appointment.
According to the "Notice of Cancellation" on the Iowa Department of Public Health website, "IDPH will not make an award for the call center project...and is continuing to evaluate call center solutions."
Last week, the Iowa Department of Public Health put out a release seeking "a qualified vendor" to provide COVID-19 vaccine response support.
