Ames Police have issued a first-degree murder warrant for 33-year Richard G. Fleck, also known as Rashaud Sims, in connection with a woman found dead in an Ames apartment on Saturday.
Fleck was originally identified as a person of interest in the homicide. He's described as being about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with tattoos on his hands and neck.
Law enforcement believes Fleck is in the Kansas City area, but also has ties in Texas and Mississippi.
Ames Police also identified the victim as 37-year old Ranea K. Bell, found dead on Saturday night by police while conducting a welfare check.
