(Des Moines, Iowa) -- An Ames man is in custody facing charges of extortion.
Investigators say Perkell Gully threatened to release explicit photos of a Drake University student if she refused to send more, and police say she's not Gully's first victim. A criminal complaint in the case says Gully admitted to police he's targeted many women online and has been doing so for a long time.
Gully is facing a felony extortion charge. Police arrested him on Monday, and he's currently out on bond.
Gully is scheduled to appear in court on March 3rd.
