Ames Public Library reopening next month

AMES, Iowa -- The Ames Public Library is reopening next month.

Starting March 15, the city says visitors can browse the two floors of library collections, staff will be available to answer questions, and computers will be available for 30 minute sessions.

The library's play areas, study rooms, and meeting rooms will stay closed.

The city's asking visitors to limit their time in the library building to 30 minutes, and says face masks must be worn and six feet of social distancing used.

Ames Public Library’s open hours will remain: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9am-6pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-9pm; and Sundays 1pm-5pm.
