Warren County Seeing State Patrol Traffic Enforcement Project

(Warren County, IA) -- The Indianola and Carlisle police departments are teaming up with the Iowa State Patrol for a traffic enforcement project today.

Officers across Warren County will be looking out for speeders, distracted drivers and seatbelt usage.

They say this is part of an effort to keep Iowa's traffic-related injuries below 300 in 2021. As of February 25th, there have been 25 traffic-related deaths reported.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office is also assisting with the project.
