Norwalk schools under lockdown

NORWALK, Iowa -- All buildings in the Norwalk School District are under lockdown.

Superintendent D.T. McGee says the safety measures were put in place this morning after the Norwalk Police Department says it took a threat of violence against the district's secondary campus--the building with sixth through 12 grades.

He says there is also an increased police presence at that building,

McGee says the exterior lockdown means no one's allowed in or out of the buildings
