DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Iowa and Drake men's basketball teams get bids in 2021 NCAA Tournament.

The 2nd-seeded Hawkeyes will play 15th-seed Grand Canyon in the West Region on Saturday.

Iowa goes into the tournament at 21-8 on the season, while Grand Canyon is 17-6.

The Hawkeyes are coming off a 82-71 loss against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.

Drake also makes it in the tournament, getting a "First Four" game against 16-5 Wichita State on Thursday.

The winner of that games goes into the NCAA's round of 64 as an 11-seed against 6-seed USC.

The Bulldogs are 25-4 overall and finished second in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s NCAA Tournament is being held completely in Indiana, with most games being played in Indianapolis.
