(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A Des Moines man is found guilty of First-Degree murder in a 2019 shooting.
On Monday, a jury found Stanley Wofford guilty of covering up his involvement in the shooting death of John Belcher.
Investigators say Wofford called 9-1-1 about half an hour after the shooting, claiming to have found the body at a house north of downtown Des Moines.
Wofford will face sentencing at the end of April. Life in prison is the mandatory sentence for First-Degree murder in Iowa.
