(Indianapolis, Indiana) -- The Creighton men's basketball team is advancing in the NCAA tournament.
The Bluejays defeated the University of California Santa Barbara Gauchos by one point, 63-62 in Indianapolis. Creighton led 34-30 at the end of the first half, but the second half continued to remain competitive, with the lead changing hands several times.
After falling behind late in the second half, Creighton took the lead with 16 seconds left in the game and held it until the end.
Creighton's next game in the NCAA tournament will be on Monday.
