DES MOINES, Iowa -- For the first time in weeks, Iowa gas prices hold steady.
Triple A says a gallon of regular unleaded in Iowa averages $2.80--the same price as last week.
They say an increase in gasoline supply and reduced demand have helped to slow price jumps.
Triple A says pump prices right now are still $.19 higher than a month ago.
The national average of that gallon of regular unleaded is $2.88, up $.02 from last week and a quarter more expensive from the same time a month ago.
