(Ames, IA) -- The man wanted for murder in Ames is now in jail.
According to Des Moines police dispatch audio, 33-year-old Richard Fleck was reportedly trying to run away from police overnight in nothing but his boxer shorts, after a woman was reported assaulted on Des Moines' east side. The woman was taken to a local hospital.
Fleck is charged with first degree murder in the beating death of 37-year-old Ranea Bell last month.
