WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Detectives are still looking for answers on the anniversary of a ten-year cold case.
Ashley Okland was 27-years-old when she was shot April 8th during an open house in a townhome complex in West Des Moines in 2011.
West Des Moines Police say the investigation continues.
"The case sits on the detectives desk. It's not put away in a file cabinet. It's going to be active until the case is solved," said Sergeant Jason Bryan.
The department says they've pursued nearly 900-leads and conducted more than 500-interviews in the past decade to find any information that could lead them to an arrest.
"Our number one priority is to solve the case as quickly and thoroughly as we possibly can to bring this person to justice and to hopefully, bring some kind of closure to the Okland family," said Bryan.
Polk County Crime Stoppers is offering a $150,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
