WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Iowa's about average when it comes to infrastructure.
The White House is giving Iowa a 'C' on its infrastructure report card as President Biden pushes for support on the two-trillion-dollar American Jobs Plan.
The state-by-state Infrastructure Report Cards break down how much money the Biden administration's plan will invest in infrastructure.
It says Iowa has more than 45-hundred bridges and more than 400-miles of highway in poor condition.
It claims Iowans will pay 336-dollars more every year in costs from driving on poor roads.
The two-trillion-dollar climate and infrastructure plan has bipartisan support from lawmakers, although Republicans question how the U.S. will pay for it.
