(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Des Moines Police are releasing the identity of the person found dead in a south side pond on Sunday.
Police say the body of 47 year-old Jamie Hurley and a submerged truck were found by mushroom hunters. Investigators say there's no evidence to suggest Hurley had been inside the vehicle when it sank into the pond.
The truck had been reported stolen in October of 2018, and Hurley hadn't been seen since January of this year.
